Life is a Tropical Garden

Moving from a four-season world like upstate New York to a two-season home in Costa Rica is enough to drive a gardener bonkers! Yes, my husband, Metric Man, says ‘It’s not a drive, it’s a short walk,’ but oh well.
Once a barefoot gardener, I now have to wear boots – yuck.
Hills are slippery when wet. So is clay.
Plants don’t behave the way I’m used to. Sniffle.
Leaf-cutter ants? Only tourists think they’re cute!

Oh, my aching joints.
