True Blue Detective Prequel

A detective with something to prove and desperate for justice. Mario DeLuca always wanted to be a cop and put bad guys behind bars. Can he bring law and order to the streets of New Orleans, or will his dream of bringing the city’s worst thugs to justice cost him more than he ever dreamed?

This story is a prequel, taking place immediately before the events in the first book of the True Blue Detective series.

The series has action, drama, mystery, relationships, and crime and is a front-row seat from a New Orleans cop’s perspective: cruising the streets, dealing with injustice, visiting local businesses, and interacting with the exciting people in this unique, historic city.

True Blue Detective

Zack Nelson, a former homicide detective in New Orleans, is always on the clock.

When suspicious deaths occur at a retirement center, Zack and his colleague Mario DeLuca are called in to investigate. After finding another body, Zack suspects foul play rather than natural causes.

As they delve deeper into the case, they realize that someone at the retirement center can't be trusted. All signs point to Dr. Walter Ross, who seems more concerned with filling rooms and collecting payments for his family company than solving murders. But when a mysterious man offers them crucial information, Zack and Mario make some progress in the case—until another murder occurs, this time possibly connected to a larger scheme. With their attention pulled in multiple directions, the detectives must untangle a web of secrets, lies, and unexpected connections to solve these crimes.

Set against the backdrop of Southern charm and hospitality, this fast-paced thriller will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
