Tyrean Martinson, lifelong SFF fan, fenced foil and saber in college, once acted in plays, and then became a teacher and writing tutor, which gives her plenty of opportunity to use Star Wars and Marvel movies as examples, and gesture theatrically when she makes a point.
Tyrean lives in Washington State, has a wonderful husband, two amazing daughters, a faithful dog, and a huntress cat.
Tyrean is her real name and her parents wanted it pronounced like Tyrene, without two "e" letters in it. They thought they made it up; it turns out it's a name that's been around since the ancient city of Tyre.
