Tony McCann is a writer who lives and works in Glasgow. His first book, sci-fi thriller Artifice, was released in 2017, and he is currently working on his second novel, Ausgang Zero, which is an alternative history featuring Scottish Nazis. Tony is also writing a serialised sci-fi murder mystery, Cloudfall (available free to read on Substack), with chapters available every two weeks.
Tony specialises in fiction and writes speculative fiction, sci-fi, crime and general fiction. He regularly publishes essays on Substack, covering topics such as economics, politics, technology, video games, and movies that annoy him.
In addition to writing, Tony is an engineer with almost twenty years of experience in various industries, including defence, energy, nuclear, oil and gas, and aviation. He specialises in functional safety and the design of complex control systems.
