Susan A. Jennings was born in Britain of a Canadian mother and British father. Both Canadian and British heritages are often featured in her writing and inspired her to write The Blue Pendant a perfect example of a trans-Atlantic story and is the first book in The Sackville Hotel Trilogy that takes the reader from an Edwardian drawing room to the cold war of the '60s. Susan has a second historical fiction book Prelude to Sophie's War book one of a new series beginning in 1915 London during WW1 and continuing the battlefields of Europe. On a lighter side Susan has authored four contemporary romance novels in the Lavender Cottage series.
Raised and educated in Britain, Susan immigrated to Canada with her young family many years ago. She lives and writes in Ottawa Ontario.
Susan began to take her writing career seriously after writing her memoir, 'Save Some For Me' a story of marital abuse and some hilarious mis-adventures of a single mother of five. A second edition was published in 2019.
Susan’s ability to write a good story makes her an eclectic writer, having no difficulty switching from nonfiction to fiction; the story ideas just multiply as she writes.
