George lived alone. And in recent years, Christmas had just seemed to pass him by. But this Christmas, he receives a call from an old friend (none other than Father Christmas himself!) asking for help to get him out of a ‘bit of a pickle.’ George finds himself doing a very special job in the local department store, where he meets a young girl called Beth, and he is reminded of how wonderful Christmas can be.
