But the story is a lot deeper than it appears. There are more players looking to cash in their lives and more than a few chips in the dirty streets of Last Vegas.
Together with his sometimes on-again, off-again girlfriend, ex-wife, and occasional partner Valentine, they will figure it out or die trying.

Expect some previous characters from other books in the universe to show and do their damnedest.
