Rebecca Guy was first introduced to all things paranormal at the tender age of ten when she received Hans Holzer's Ghosts – True Encounters with the World Beyond from Father Christmas. She tortured herself with the stories late into every night, after which she was too terrified to sleep.

Thanks Santa.

The trauma started a love affair with all things horror and supernatural and she now likes to write her own novels to torture herself and others with until they can't sleep. After all, sharing is caring.

Rebecca was born and raised in Staffordshire. She still lives there with her three children and a Beagle called Rosie.

Shattered

DECEPTION. GREED. VENGENCE. BETRAYAL

Forced to Northumberland to care for her dying Aunt, Charley Costin is determined to put aside childhood fears, and a twenty year feud, to prove her family wrong. Elizabeth Kane is not a witch, she is just an old lady, and Charley intends to make her estranged Aunt's last days as comfortable as possible.

But doubts creep in when Elizabeth proves more work than Charley ever imagined. Intimidating and demanding, with violent hallucinations, episodes of paranoia, and an agenda of her own, Charley discovers dementia is much more than loss of memory, and her Aunt is as far from 'old lady' as she can get.

Already on edge, Charley discovers Fortwind House hides not only a sinister presence, an unruly bell, and a study door that opens itself, but also a terrible secret. A secret that gardener Axl Maddox would kill to keep buried. A secret that Elizabeth is desperate to tell. As her Aunt's paranoia grows, an unnerved Charley questions just how long her Aunt has left, and the real reason she may have less time than she thinks.

Disturbed, watched, and afraid, Charley feels out of her depth as over twenty years of deception, betrayal, vengeance, and bad blood rise to the surface with devastating consequences. What Charley discovers at Fortwind House will blow her world apart and challenge everything she has ever known.

Ruin

DARKNESS. PARANOIA. ISOLATION.

Determined to start a new life as far from her shattered marriage as possible Emmie Landers purchases 'Bruadair' - an isolated ruin in the highlands of Scotland. A place where children are safe and angry fathers are absent.

But safe is not a word that applies to Bruadair. This is a place of uneasy darkness, where a deep cold penetrates the walls, shadows linger, and the intense feeling of being watched leaves Emmie unnerved. Down in Surrey, Scott Harvington is whipping up a storm. Furious that Emmie should get to start over so easily, he is determined to hunt her down and force her to face the consequences of tearing apart his family. She ruined his life, and now he will ruin hers. Hell bent on revenge, he is resolute. He will reunite his family - at whatever cost.

As events spiral out of control, Bruadair's secret is blown open with devastating consequences. Mentally broken, Emmie must face her worst fears as the full force of a terrifying past ensures the family's future is destroyed beyond repair.

Haunted

Done with therapy and desperate for change, Meredith Knight fakes a parapsychology degree and takes a job as a presenter on a locational shoot in Scotland. Part respite from the constraints of caring for her alcoholic mother, part crash course in dealing with the dead, Meredith hopes to dampen her fear and gain the confidence to find out what her dead sister wants. Maybe then Eve will leave for good, and her mother can stay dry. Maybe then she can live a normal life.

But as the pressure of the shoot increases, Meredith is left with far more questions than answers, and she struggles to grasp the truth she desperately needs. With her mother in a downward spiral at home, and Eve's presence intensifying into a claustrophobic malevolence desperate for attention, Meredith is no longer frustrated, she begins to feel haunted, watched, and afraid.

800 miles from home, terrified and alone, Meredith begins to feel she has made a catastrophic mistake. Shadows seen from the corner of her eye, a sinister form that materialises behind the curtains, the reappearance of a childhood teddy bear she would rather forget, and unearthly voicemails left on her phone are setting her nerves on edge.

As Eve's horrifying story closes in there is no escape, Meredith is forced to deal with what really happened to her sister all those years ago. What she uncovers destroys the very foundation of her own dysfunctional childhood, and for the first time in her life she begins to question not only whether she can trust those around her, but whether she can trust herself.

Lost

IN A CABIN, IN A WOOD…

Mac ‘the mind guy’ Macauley knows the mind inside and out. He understands how the brain works, how false realities can appear real, and exactly what it takes to live the life of your dreams – wherever you’re starting from, and wherever you want to be.

His stage shows are packed out, people clamour to find out his secrets, and his services and fool-proof pathways and roadmaps come highly recommended. But after the loss of his wife and best friend, Sula, Mac just can’t seem to get it together, no matter how much he knows.

Concerned, Mac’s brother, Tom, begs him to get out of the limelight and get himself together – out at his isolated cabin on the shores of a remote Scottish loch. Alone. For one year.

Tom tells Mac that the cabin will play with his mind, and that some false realities will certainly appear more than real, but Mac knows the mind, right? The ‘mind guy’ can’t go insane, it’s impossible, isn’t it? So why does Mac feel something sinister is sharing the cabin with him?

Meanwhile, down in London, Tom is having a nightmare of his own. A decision he made two years ago at the cabin is coming back to haunt him. Not only will the truth devastate Mac, but the repercussions are now placing both brothers in the centre of a revenge pact intended to tear their lives apart.

With winter setting in, and the cabin cut off, Mac descends into a claustrophobic darkness. For the cabin isn’t safe, and Mac isn’t alone out here in the wilderness. Out here he is being hunted. Out here he has no choice but to face the monsters if he has any chance of saving not only his sanity, but his very existence.

SOMETHING IS LURKING, BATHED IN BLOOD.
