Ophelia Wells Langley is a mother to two boys. She loves reading, writing, knitting, and chasing after her high-energy children.

OWL started writing when she was young. A mild obsession with Celtic mythology, a strong taste for fantasy, and a penchant for escapism were the basis for her formative years as a writer. Fast forward a few decades and, after moving a few years ago, she rediscovered her binders full of handwritten fantasy stories, maps, character descriptions, and more fun things from her days as a middle schooler. She decided, then, that after the last few years of being a full-time stay-at-home mom that she wanted to dive into writing, again. After surviving two years of a global viral outbreak, she decided to embrace her passion and try her hand at this whole writing thing.

Her goal is simple: create character-driven stories within lush fantasy worlds that satiate our need for escape from reality.

She strives to create female characters that are older, and wiser, but still have quite a bit of growing to do. She writes about male characters that are complex and diverse (also with a lot of growing to do). She incorporates inclusive gender identities and romantic experiences in order to fully reflect life as we know it. We are all a little morally grey, we are all hairy, we all have cellulite, we all stink, and, underneath it all, we all have the same blood and bones.

The Borderlands Princess: The Stone Circle Series Book 1

Now thirty, Princess Sorcha is to wed the High King of the Fae on the autumnal equinox as a symbol of long-standing peace between both Fae and humans.
Having lived separated from the Fae for a hundred years, little is known about the mysterious, magical High King and his kingdom beyond rumors and legends passed down through the generations. When the King sends an Emissary instead, Sorcha feels an immediate attraction to the gallant, green-eyed Lord of the Borderlands.
Through her adventures in Fae, her attraction deepens to Lord Conall. And, as her impending nuptials loom, so does her sense of duty to ensure peace for her people. But, when secrets are revealed, identities discovered, and plans are waylaid, Sorcha has to make a choice between honoring her people and fulfilling her duty or choosing the way of the heart.
