When I became chronically ill I began to write. From my 'trapped' world, I began to weave a new one full of fantasy and adventure. I had worked in historical re-enactment for over ten years so it was natural for me to base my earlier books in history. I love taking the ruins and folklore of the distant past and weaving them into my stories.
I am currently busy working on a four-book fantasy series.

When I am not writing, I am busy with my craft work. So, I have also begun producing some craft books under my real (but very dull) name.

Nelly Harper's books

The Girl of Two Worlds (The Albion Chronicles book 1)

The first book in the Albion Chronicles Series.
Kariss must learn that the life she is living is not the life the gods have planned for her.
Instead there is a whole different world waiting for her, 2000 years in the past.
The whole of Albion needs her to succeed, or the Romans will return and the gods will be driven out.

Seven Druids (The Albion Chronicles book 2)

IN A LAND OF SECRET ALLIANCES, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO CAN BE TRUSTED?

Kariss is in increasing danger and the threat from rival Martaani will only grow as midsummer approaches.
Forced back into hiding once more, Kariss learns that even those closest to her are capable of betrayal.
Seven druids now hold the key to her survival but will she be able to find them all in time?
The Romans hatred of the druids has not diminished. Frightened of the power they hold, they have no intention of letting any live, and with the help of the Votadini, the Romans may be more powerful than anyone has expected.

The Battle for Brigantia (The Albion Chronicles book 3)

One person has the power to change the fate of a nation, as Kariss knows only too well.
The actions of Taratus are causing increasing concern. The few who know him well refuse to believe he could be a traitor. Even the old druid, Bodvoc insists that he is innocent and should be disregarded. Everyone else believes him to be a traitor.
Kariss is torn; he is her cousin and one of her dearest childhood friends. Would he really betray her?
Once again, she must put her faith in the gods. In the midst of battle, when he holds life and death in his hands, she will find out if she made the right choice.

The Jet Necklace

It was such an easy thing – to forget about the necklace. After all, everyone else was dead and survival was the only thing on Oonagh’s mind. How was she to know about the power it held?

How To Make A Polymer Clay Wizard

Ever fancied making your own wizard?
It is easier than you think. All you need is a little know-how and a lot of patience.

Queen of Betrayal

ONE DECISION IS ENOUGH TO TEAR APART A NATION.
In summer AD51, yet another battle is raging. The invaders are intent on turning the precious Isle of Albion into Roman Britannia. Caradoc, fighting long and hard, is determined to protect the land. Finally with his people defeated, he flees to the queen of the Brigantes, hoping to find salvation.
Queen Cartimandua has other ideas. Blinded by the wealth and power of the Romans, she will not listen to reason. She is determined to keep Caradoc in chains and hand him over to the Roman governor, no matter how much her husband, Venutius, or her archdruid, Galchobhar plead for her to see reason.
