I am born and raised in the Chicago area. I grew up in the calm northern suburbs and have lived in the wild west area known as Uptown in Chicago. I attended Southern Illinois University. I created my own major and called it Organizational Development. I have worked at about twenty two different jobs. From teaching interpersonal communications, managing 500 apartment units in Uptown to owning my own business to working at the county morgue. I have watched all three of my children being born by C-section and seen a person shot and die in front of me. My lives journey is what got me to write my book Dreaming In The Hut. Originally written for all current and future family members. Today it is for all to enjoy.
