The Power of Pasta

The story of a celebrity chef's mission to feed America's hungry children, including his childhood growing up poor in France and Italy, attainment of his "American dream" as the owner of the Anaheim White House Restaurant, and how a boy, a bag of potato chips and his mother Caterina led him to feed pasta to thousands of children every day.

Then She Was Born

'Then She Was Born' is more than a novel. It’s an international human rights awareness campaign supported by eleven Nobel Peace Prize laureates, the Dalai Lama and Pope Francis. Based on personal experiences and real occurrences, the author takes the reader on a voyage along the most intimate contours of human emotion, revealing what can happen when love and hate, alienation and redemption, black magic and faith all converge around one girl.

Ancient Wisdom: The Monk With No Past

A self-publishing success in Italy, 'The Monk With No Past' is a tale of enlightenment, a companion for interior growth, and a guide to abandoning mental schemes as you journey toward greater awareness.

The Lustful Youth of Rodrigo Borgia

Italian authors Elena and Michela Martignoni offer a new perspective on this famous Renaissance lover in their sophisticated, first-person account of the sensual man and the workings of his mind.

Angelica: A Made in Italy Romance

A modern, action-packed love story set among the beauty and timeless romance of Italy and a family’s fond memories of Cinecittà, the soundstage and film studios—known as Hollywood on the Tiber—on the outskirts of Rome where epic film-making reached its peak with classic productions such as Ben-Hur and Cleopatra.

A Brave Heart

'A Brave Heart' tells one man’s story of overcoming adversity, not through a distinct descent or climb, but by recognizing and nurturing the seeds already within him when his life was changed forever. In his moments of darkness those seeds sprouted, piercing through the despair to generate a new life of deeper meaning and connection.

Tuscan Tales: the fantastic fables of Emma Perodi

Ten dark Tuscan fairy tales that Italian readers have loved for more than a hundred years.
This collection of classic 19th century Italian stories has the power to transport modern readers (ages 10 and up) to a mystical time and place, where scoundrels and saints, supernatural events and magical objects appear in the Tuscan countryside next to the peasants who populate the hinterlands.

A Sweet Little Story

Cecilia and Massimo started with nothing more than their desire to have a business of their own in which they could work together and honor the traditions of the place they call home. After almost thirty years, they’ve created something that has left its mark on them and on others—both locals and visitors from far away—people who share a passion for food, personal connection, and traditions. This is their story and more than fifty of the recipes from their restaurant, Osteria La Gramola, located in the Chianti area of Italy.

A Medici in Love: Francesco I in Renaissance Florence

Francesco I de’ Medici had only two passions in life: alchemy and Bianca Cappello. Which of the two was more precious to him is difficult to say, but what is certain is that both led to his death. A fascinating look at this historic figure and his times.
