I grew up in London, England, did an English degree, and then took forever to start writing. I started with flash fiction, then short stories, and now I write novels, mostly mysteries. You could say that I travel between the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries, murdering people. However, I usually clean up after myself.

My series include the Maisie Frobisher Mysteries, the Magical Bookshop series, the Pippa Parker cozy mystery series, the Caster & Fleet Victorian mystery series (with Paula Harmon), and various Sherlock Holmes reimaginings.
