A Thousand Years To Wait

Prophecies are meant to unfold on their own—they can’t be forced into fruition. Or can they? When a war-torn kingdom is on the cusp of falling to a usurping general, a young healer who doesn't believe in magic is called upon to help a prophecy transpire. She must embrace the magic...or lose everything.

At eighteen, Moreina di Bianco is a young healer who believes in medicine, not magic, even while possessing a second sight she can't fully explain. So when the Faranzine Talisman chooses Reina to reawaken an ancient magic and end a war, she must reconcile her beliefs, unlock the talisman’s secrets, and harness the magic within.

Reluctant to accept help, Reina agrees to allow two determined escorts to accompany her on her journey for truth, but each comes with a mysterious past of his own. Her estranged childhood friend, Quinn D’Arturio, left their village years ago and only recently returned, harboring dark secrets behind a solemn exterior. And despite his status as a perfect stranger, a dashing captain by the name of Niles Ingram is quick to fight by Reina’s side at whatever the cost. That someone she’s only just met would give his life for hers is a sobering realization of the ever-present danger Reina has jumped into.

There’s just one problem with Reina’s two companions. They, too, are featured in the talisman's prophecy - as potential suitors. But what woman wants a suitor, let alone two, when she’s tasked with defeating a usurping general, ending a war, finding the true king, and rightfully seating him on the throne?

The Heart of Death

What’s dead is alive, what’s alive is dead.

Now that the White Sorceress, Bringer of Life has been found, and the rightful King of Castilles restored to the throne, all that’s left to do is live happily ever after…until another ominous prophecy disrupts the peace.

Rumors of undead things roaming the land and chaos tipping the world into darkness spur Reina and Quinn into another journey, but the new prophecy holds a nasty surprise. The two must travel to the Southern Plains with The One Who Failed, and that can only mean…Niles must join them.

They must locate the elusive Heart of Death and stop the Chaos Wielder from turning the world into the living dead, but combatting a deadly power stronger than anything they’ve ever known is no simple undertaking. To find the answers they need, they’ll have to journey through dangerous, enchanted lands, make untold sacrifices, and retake control of the talisman’s unexpectedly volatile magic.

Chaos Bound

The end and the beginning.

Finally, the Chaos Wielder’s identity has been revealed, but Quinn is gone, and Reina and Alesh have little time to save their world from an eternity of chaos and ruin.

The two traverse the Elorin Empire in search of help from the emperor, but instead find assistance in unexpected places. After gaining the trust of a scrappy young girl and the allegiance of a brawny ex-guard with guts and guile, they embark on a haphazard, ever-changing plan, relying on sheer determination and a bit of luck to see them through.

Still, not all is as it seems in these lands, and those who die don’t always stay dead. A strange set of circumstances may release Quinn from his bindings and provide him with exactly what’s needed to rid the world of chaos, but his freedom depends on his ability to face the darkest moments of his past. Can he embrace the parts of himself he most despises and reach Reina and Alesh before the looming eclipse…or is Liron doomed to fall to darkness?

Temper the Dark

Servant girl Alaris Kahlanik finds out about her family’s gift the hard way when she discovers her ability to dreamwalk after being condemned to the Cells. With thoughts of escape, she uses her newfound ability to spy on the emperor and his secret search for something important. Nothing the emperor wants could possibly be good for the people he rules, and so whatever the emperor is looking for, Alaris must find first.

Throlani Guardsman Kagan Liis has served the Empire since Emperor Patuk’s reign began eight years ago. He can also communicate with a vicious oracle referred to only as the Darkness. When the Darkness tasks Kagan with investigating the Servant girl in the Cells, Kagan takes on a special mission that will require more than his usual interrogation methods of brute strength and intimidation.

From vastly different echelons of the same tribal society, Alaris and Kagan are surprised to learn they share one important goal—ensuring the best for the people of their island nation. Alaris discovers what the emperor is looking for—a dragon! But warning a senile dragon against impending danger is no easy task. Together, Alaris and Kagan must save a forgetful dragon and a divided nation…which may mean giving up any hope of saving themselves.

Marit Unsanctioned

As an Unsanctioned, sixteen-year-old Marit Tempi-Himche spends her days in hiding and her nights farming the land of her mothers’ farm, but her many years of hiding prove futile when the Guard discovers Marit’s existence and she’s hauled to the auction cells to be sold to the highest bidder. She ends up in the hands of a councilman’s daughter who’s soon to be wed to Greyson Kencharo, an eighteen-year-old in line to nab the keystone seat on a powerful council that rules Aktaria and keeps the rebellious colonies and their magic-wielding citizens in line.

Before the union can be approved, Greyson and his bride must pick blindly from a variety of vials containing phenomenal powers, and the vials they choose must consist of complementary gifts. In a freak accident, Marit—not the councilman’s daughter—ends up with complementary powers to Greyson’s gift.

Now someone on the council wants them dead. Thrust into the middle of an ongoing war between the council and the rebel colonies who want to use them to reclaim independence, Marit, Greyson, and a misfit crew of friends are on the run in a race to discover the truth behind the council’s long, bloody history and the power behind their gifts. The unlikely pair must make a choice. What they learn could reshape the future for the better…if they can stay alive long enough to tell their story.
