A bit of a Nomad herself, K.A. Finn has wandered around Ireland and the UK for decades before settling back in Ireland with her husband and kids (two and four legged).
She is currently writing three series with a fourth planned.
The award-winning Nomad Series (cyborg science fiction) follows Gryffin - the fearsome cyborg commander of the Nomad battleship, Ares. In rescuing an enemy officer, he reveals his true identity, bringing him to the attention of his creators. Now hunted, he must defend his life, freedom, and newfound love.
The Broken Chords series is a dark romance based in Ireland and follows a local rock band as they battle their personal demons to find love. There are 5 books planned and each one will concentrate on a different member of the band.
The Blackjacks series follows the adventures of an elite group of vampires defending mixed race civilians from the unforgiving pure-bred hierarchy intent on purifying the race.

Broken Rock (Broken Chords # 1)
A dark history. An uncertain future. With the press, rumours, and saboteurs against them, will these lovers ever find their melody?
Irish rockstar Tate Archer thought his ugly past was behind him. So when an anonymous tormentor sends him cryptic messages about his forgotten childhood, the haunted frontman turns to hard drugs to cope with the residual trauma. But after his release from rehab, he can’t help but wonder if the perfect prescription is the beautiful stranger he meets on the beach.
Chloe Quinn prefers things uncomplicated. So she isn’t looking for anything serious when she draws close to a handsome guy who helps fix her car. But just as she’s falling for her new seaside squeeze, she feels betrayed when she learns he’s actually a troubled famous singer.
As the messages draw him deeper into his past, Tate finds the siren call of booze and narcotics nearly impossible to resist. And with his reputation spiraling-downward, Chloe fears she’ll lose him to old habits as someone seems intent on not only destroying his career, but his life too.
Will Tate and Chloe hit their harmony, or is this duet just not meant to be?
Fractured Rock (Broken Chords # 2)
Irish rockstar Gregg Egan is new to the celebrity lifestyle. As the latest member of the band, he’s still finding his feet. Being secretly in love with his lead singer’s younger sister, isn’t helping. For the sake of the band and his friendship she has to remain off limits
Bria Archer grew up surrounded by the members of the band. She never expected to develop feelings for the drummer. Especially when he’s her brother’s best friend. When her life takes an unexpected turn, he’s there to help her pick up the pieces.
But someone finds out about their secret. Someone intent on keeping Gregg and Bria apart no matter the cost. Their stalker knows far too much about them. Knows things Gregg has kept to himself for years. Things he doesn’t want the public to know about.
With the pressure mounting and too much to lose, Gregg and Bria have to make a decision about their relationship before it tears the band, their friendships, and their lives apart.
Breaking Phoenix (Blackjacks # 1)
Phoenix is old. Too damn old to still be alone. But when you’re the leader of the Blackjacks, a group of mixed-blood vampire fighters, a happily ever after comes a very distant second to survival. The True Order is determined to wipe them out and she’s going to make sure that doesn’t happen. Seven Blackjacks against an unknown number of pure-blood’s - the odds aren’t in their favour
Then he was taken and it was six…
Court was the one fighter she let in, the one she broke her own rules with, the one she shared her bed with, the one she gave her heart to. When he vanished without a trace, he took a piece of her with him. Three years later he’s back from the dead, but it’s not the reunion she dreamt of. Court doesn’t recognise her, doesn’t recognise any of the vampires he lived with, fought with, bled with. The hole in his memory has consumed their life together as if it never happened.
Nix must push her personal feelings aside as the enemy seems hot on Court’s heels, desperate to get to him before his memory resurfaces. The Blackjacks need her head in the game instead of mourning a relationship no one remembers… except her. This is bigger than her feelings for Court. He wasn’t the only one taken. Others have disappeared and most haven’t returned. Someone is trying to purify the race and Court is the key that could bring about the end - not just of the Blackjacks, but of all mixed-blood vampires.
Reviving Davyn (Blackjacks # 2)
Davyn is damaged, broken physically and mentally after being raised in captivity. He joined the Blackjacks to seek revenge against those responsible, but isn’t truly a part of them. He maintains distance while hiding his disfigured wing and his true heritage. His reputation as one of the deadliest is well-deserved.
When he once more finds himself back in chains, fighting for his life, he doesn’t regret what led him there and accepts his fate. As long as she’s safe, that’s all that matters.
In the two months since he disappeared, the Blackjacks haven’t given up hope, neither has Thea. Davyn sacrificed himself to save her and the guilt is consuming her. She thought she knew better and he paid the price for her arrogance.
When they finally bring him home, they can repair his body, but she might be the only one who can reach through the darkness of his mind and save him. Otherwise, he’ll be lost to her forever.

His unpredictable mechanical side, reawakened by the brutality he endured as a prisoner, threatens to destroy him. He's lost the trust of the colonists. Has he lost part of himself as well?
Her need to protect her ravaged heart puts distance between them when they need to depend on each other the most.
