John Hopkins is an author and artist based in the great state of Texas with his wife and dog. Following his muse, while still active in an accomplished career in communication arts, John published two award-winning Lost Cactus comic strip anthologies filled with a shared universe of short stories, essays, and illustrations. The Golden Ellipse is the first full-length novel in his new The Powers That Be series of sci-fi adventures with roots harkening back to his original comic inspiration. It is scheduled for publication in November 2021. Books 2 and 3 in the series are in development and scheduled for release starting in mid-2022.
