I'm a published author, designer, artist, and poet based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK. I am the Director of The Gloucestershire Poetry Society and the founder and editor of Steel Jackdaw magazine. I have a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University.

As a creative professional, I'm an award-winning designer, photographer, artist, and poet who works as a freelancer with international clients. I'm also a specialist book cover and book layout designer.

As a poet, I have been published in Poetry Bus, The Poetry Village, Impspired, Wildfire Words, Dreich, Fevers of the Mind, Ink Sweat and Tears, The Phare, and on BBC Upload, as well as numerous anthologies. I write to encourage people to reconnect with nature's transformative power and to take positive action to nurture and protect it. I also write about mental health, neurodiversity, and social change.

Creativity is my passion, and I am constantly inspired to write, paint, draw, and design by inspiration from natural mindfulness.

Phoenix Rises

Phoenix Rises is a poetry book charting one man’s poetic journey from dark to light.

Inside you will find inspiration from 13 dark poems, written about fears, anxiety and depression and 13 light poems about the beauty and richness of life.

We all have dark times and light times in our lives that can leave us battered and cold or floating on air.

This is Jason Conway's first book of poetry exploring the lows and highs of life from his unique and insightful perspective.
