I was born 1962 in Brooklyn, NY. I studied creative writing at Barnard College with author B.J. Chute. I started my journey as an independent author in 2003 with the book Perry Robinson: The Traveler. Since then, I have published books in a variety of genres, including mystery, thriller, literary fiction, horror, and poetry. My most recent book is Sara My Sara: A Memoir of Friendship and Loss, which is the story of losing my best friend to aggressive brain cancer.
