In Book Three, Annie Parker has turned eighty-one and works to finish writing the third installment of the Guest Book Trilogy set in the 1980’s in the mountains of Lake Arrowhead, Ca.
She struggles with her sister’s death, and while she never really knows the details, she welcomes her childhood friend, Sarah, who needs some time away from a marriage she should have never entered into.
Annie discovers her newest design client, Hudson Fisher, has ties to her restored cabins when she realizes his mother, famous actress Celeste Williams, stayed there and entered into an illicit relationship with the leading actor in the movie they were filming in the late 1920s.
