Brian Ashley is a retired sales and marketing executive now residing in Florida. He has founded two chess academies for children, the Sausalito Chess Academy in Northern California creating after-school chess programs, and the Venetian Bay Chess Academy in Florida, which partners with Jr. golf programs, teaching chess and golf at summer camps. He has written his autobiography, "Lucky Me," and "Why Chess Matters," is his second book.
