I'm 55 and married to James. We have two adult daughters and a cat. I have been writing stories and poems for years. I have mostly worked in financial services which doesn't stimulate your creativity! However, in the last year, I decided to start self-publishing. So far I have written a children's Hallowe'en poem book and Christmas bedtime stories. I have just launched my first children's chapter book which will be the first of a series of books called The Razcaleers.
This self-publishing journey has been lots of fun and there is still lots to learn!

The Razcaleers and The Tale of Bothersome Mr Bone
The Razcaleers are small heroes who come to the aid of children struggling with bothersome adults. Adults sometimes forget what it's like to be young and carefree, and their nagging and rules can ruin any child's fun. But fear not: The Razcaleers are here to save the day! The Razcaleers live inside Smiling Mountain and swim in the River Berry. The River Berry is full of juice with magic powers.
If the children open a bottle of the magic River Berry Juice then The Razcaleers will come to the rescue. In this book, Mr Bone, the new school head, spoils the children's fun.
