Annette Hamilton writes fiction and memoir. During an earlier career as an anthropologist she lived in remote Australia and in Thailand and Cambodia and has published many academic articles. Her current fiction projects include two collections of short stories which draw on her earlier experiences. Her memoir series, Outside the Frame, is in preparation. She lives near Sydney, Australia.
