Becoming an ALLi Partner shows that you value quality, fair dealings, and long-term relationships with authors. It’s a recognised badge that sets you apart in a crowded marketplace.

Who Can Join? Whether you’re an independent freelancer, run a small team, or manage a larger company, you’re welcome to apply if your services support self-publishing—editing, design, marketing, production, distribution, or related work. If you share our values and want to contribute to the most trusted network in indie publishing, we’d love to hear from you.

The Vetting Process: On joining, our independent Watchdog team reviews your business and online presence to ensure they align with ALLi’s values of ethics, transparency, and genuine author care. We look for a clear track record of professional practice, typically one year in business; good standing in the author community; clearly disclosed pricing and service descriptions; and excellent client service. If anything needs clarification as we review your application, we’ll be in touch. Please allow 7–10 working days for the process to be completed.

Once accepted as a Partner Member, you receive:

• Free listing in ALLi’s approved Self-Publishing Services Directory
• Independent watchdog rating of Excellent and inclusion in ALLi’s rating of the best and worst self-publishing services

• Opportunities to submit contributions for ALLi’s blog or to be considered for conference speaking, subject to review

Partner Membership Tiers

Membership fees are based on the size of your team, including both employees and outsourced contributors, measured as Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) working to deliver your services.

Partner Membership Discretion Clause

At ALLi, we value transparency, fairness, and a shared commitment to supporting independent authors. We welcome applications from solo service providers and companies that align with our values and mission.

We reserve the right to accept or decline any Partner Membership at our discretion. Decisions are based on a combination of objective criteria and our judgment about whether a strong, collaborative partnership is likely.

While we aim to be open wherever possible, there may be occasions when we cannot provide detailed reasons for a declined application. By applying, you agree to respect this process.
